2023 JSONFriend Launches with a simple formatter and editor.
2024 Expansion: Added Schema Validator, JSON Path, and JWT tools.
2025 Multi-language support and modern Angular v21 migration.
2026 Refreshed the interface with a cleaner, developer-focused look, moved large JSON comparisons onto a background thread so big files no longer freeze the page, and added a dedicated Settings page, Privacy Policy and Contact page.
2026 Launched Share Link for publishing JSON, YAML, XML and CSV snippets via a link, added a Tools menu for faster navigation, and published new guides on JWTs, Base64 encoding, common JSON errors and sharing JSON online.
2026 Redesigned every tool with a new light and dark theme and a shared editor toolbar (upload, format, copy, download, full-window view). Rebuilt the JSON Editor, Tree Viewer, Formatter, Schema Validator (drafts 2019-09 and 2020-12) and Mock Data Generator, added the JSON Inspector workspace and a JSON Examples library, added new editor and tree view settings, and wrote how-it-works guides with examples and FAQs for the Compare, JSONPath, JSON to YAML, Schema Validator and Tree Viewer tools.
